Holiday

I did this for an apron for my sister for Christmas because she IS the Cookie Queen. I swear her cookies are little works of art...makes it real hard to scarf down a box of them but I do my best!

Later...
These are some of the cookies. My food styling leaves A LOT to be desired!

Holy cats those are gorgeous! I'd feel just the tiniest bit guilty munching them... I'm sure I'd get over it though! Hope you're having a great holiday!

I agree! Those are quite incredible cookies. Martha would be most proud of your sister! Love your 50's-style illo that goes with it. Very befitting!

And thanks for the comment you left on my blog. I had a hardy laugh reading those names you mentioned! Hee!

Hey Jules, I'd say that made an excellent apron. How did your sister like anyway?

i really like your illustration, and the fifties feel you did. also, you are right about your sisters cookies. they are little works of art. i like them all, but my favorite is the snowflake with the tiny button candies. there is a contest in the us every year for gingerbread houses. i don't know where or when but i saw it on food network. you both might want to check it out. you might make a dynamic duo coming up with an amazing creation
