This week I did new new tour illustrations for Shakespeare to the Shoreline. These have Bill dining and sleeping. They are fun and fast to do.

Daring

This week's Illustration Friday topic is "daring". I didn't have a lot of time but I really wanted to do "the daring young man on the flying trapeze..."course I dressed the poor guy kind of funny!

Alone

This week's Illustration Friday topic is "Alone". I must not be feeling incredibly deep or introspective this week because all I could think of were the lyrics to "The Farmer in the Dell."

Travel

This week's topic is travel and I had loads of fun looking at archival and new photos of hot air balloons; they are amazing and in the old photos so civilized, all the ladies there dressed just so...of course I didn't depict anything like that, but I'd like to someday.

Crowded

This week's theme on Illustration Friday is Crowded. I guess I didn't get into it too much, it seemed like anything I thought of would require a lot of drawing and I'm busy (and lazy) this week. Thought of doing the old woman in the shoe with all the kids but, nah, too much work! So into a crowed vista I go with my favourite red purse and new shoes. I think that guy is checking me out.

Bloom

This week on Illustration Friday. I've never liked drawing flowers so, well, I didn't.

This week

This week's Illustration Friday topic is "fragile" and I realize I'm not breaking any new ground as far as concepts go by doing an egg but I just seem to be in an egg mode lately. I bought a new t-shirt Sunday that has a simple cartoon egg with legs and it is cracked in two and the shirt reads "Humpty was pushed". It's great. It makes me happy to wear it.
