I was going to actually draw a background (really!)but I'm just too darned busy with work these days so I didn't.
I'm not a big quote person but I really liked this one:

Fran Lebowitz is funny, but I think she has a perpetual stomach ache:> Anyway, I like that you made this into a collage...the characters look very small against the wine glasses, and it actually makes them look more like caricatures when contrasted against the realistic bacjground. As always, your figures are beautifully rendered with great gestures and color. I often do quickie backgrounds too...I just find that I can't take the time to out the detail in and get my illo posted before the week's over! This is wonderful:>
