Illustration friday - Nourishment

Well I get my new house tomorrow (!!!!) so I've been a wee bit busy this week. This is a painting called "Pie in the Sky" and has plastic pies and pizza pie slices in the sky as well as the pi symbols. The car is a cool hot wheels model that I swiped from my kids :-) It seemed fitting as this was our old house in Newfoundland. As far as nourishment is concerned (other than the pies!) it was certainly nourishing to see the ocean every day. I miss it.

Nice work. What was the actual physical size of this piece?

My trip to Nfld. three years ago still stands out as one of my most memorable experiences. I certainly understand your attraction to the ocean.

Thanks everyone :-) It's acrylic on board with other goodies glued on. Size is 18" x 24". Got my new (1964) house today so the only thing I'm painting for a while is walls! It has some awesome 60's retro touches though, cool!
